Need help on WEIGHT REDUCTION!!!

I have a 98 Z28 M6. I want to take off as much weight as possible but i don't want to gut the car. I like my interior. So far this is what i have done:

Spare & jack
AC compessor
wiper reserve
upper/lower control arms
K member
carbon fiber DS
headers
13lb flywheel
AC condensor
removed cats
DS loop
24lb battery in rear

How much would the SS hood & Bear brake system save me? What other things am I missing? Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Some new engine mounts would benefit you some. I know Spohn makes some that are like 8.5 lbs compared to the 16 lbs stock mounts. 32 lb - 17 lbs = 15 lbs saved (I think, it's late and other reasons make me wonder...). You've removed your cats, obviously not using emmissions so get rid of your A.I.R. system. It doesn't weigh much, but if you're going this far, why not get rid of it too.

What kind of wheels do you have? You can possible save a lot there by getting lighter ones.

I can see finding lighter wheels as being a big advantage to saving weight. Being unsprung weight it will be the best help with performance. Other than that maybe plastic panels in rear, and if you have leather interior, get cloth in place of the leather, should save a couple of pounds. If you don't want the stereo all it components out of the car could save some weight. Just a few ideas but not wanting to gut the interior is an area where a lot of weight will probably be left in the car. OH, look for a carbon fiber hood, that will save weight.

The 16 inch wheels that come on the car are Hell for light. I have never found a wheel mfg that could do better. (they are 16 lbs).

I do have a set of CCW 16x10s that are much wider but they are 17-18 lbs.
