I really need help ASAP. I installed a new clutch and the updated hydrolics....it works like a charm and is much improved but I installed a new rear main seal and now it leaks like hell. I had problems installing it. It came with a plastic ring. I thought the ring would slip over the crank and then just slip the seal over the plasic ring and up onto the crank, but the ring would not slip over the crank..it would just but up flush...so I think I damaged the lip trying to get the damn thing in. Aslo was it supose to be installed dry, if so I messed up that too, but putting grease on it to help get in on the crank. Please help. Im in the military and must drive to tech shcool in five days. You are gonna have to get a new seal and the gasket that goes on the plate the seal goes into.remove trannie,unbolt the seal support plate ,clean off old gasket. then put seal into plate and bolt it on engine.Thats what I did but I already had engine out.Good luck
