add lca's and lca relocation brackets to the list. phb is good but I would go with lca's first unless you get a good deal on one like I did.

A PHB is pointless to change until you lower and need an adjustable one.

I disagree on that. it will stiffen the ride and not flex around turns. even when still stock suspension. I think I noticed a diff. when I put mine on. it was a long time ago. but I do agree to get an adj. one and be done with it.

definitely agree with the online for aftermarket, like I said in the rest of the original you didn’t quote..

Personally, I really hate it when you go to the local partshouse and their is always some dum$&* in there that holds up the line because they are holding the counter guy hostage for 20 minutes trying to find the correct windshield wiper or whatnot. But, it seems that, at least where I live, this happens a lot less at napa

'01+ LS1 M6 cars come with a pretty good clutch. It's the same clutch that comes in the C5 Z06, and it'll handle quite a bit of power.

You guys are all suggesting shifters... his car might have the factory Hurst shifter, and if so, all he needs is a short stick. You can tell if you have the Hurst by the big "H" logo on the shift ****. If not, a Pro 5.0 is a very nice upgrade.

IMO, the best upgrades would be shocks, subframe connectors, and 17" wheels with wider (275/40) tires. Those are next on my list.

I dont think they have the zo6 clutch's, I know the replacement ones are all z06 stuff, but I didnt know the clutch/press plates came from GM with the z06 stuff.
and I never liked the hurst shifter's Ive seen come into the shop. still too clunky/ratchety feeling. better then stock maybe, but not equal to a pro 5.0.

Bring the STB back and get some shocks and start saving for a 12 bolt or 9".

You WILL break it... only a matter of when
