Need help : Just got 98 Z28 and it has rear end squeel

The car is almost perfect but I noticed that today. Actually I noticed only 3 things wrong with it. But the most important is the rear squeel I am hearing when cornering... It is a high pitched squeel and happens only when cornering. I have seen many pages for LT1's having problems like those and it ended up being the shims that need replacing. How much would I be looking at ? How hard is it to do ? Is there any FAQ somewhere ?

Other thing is a burned driver front signal bulb, and slightly craked windshield. I also have a small tear in the leather can this be fixed ?

I would do a lube change on the rear. 2 quarts of 75-90 and a bottle of Lubrizol posi additive from GM.
See if that helps.

I had it done today at the dealership and it seems ok. They were not able to reproduce the noise but it seems smoother now. I've got a recal on the egr valve can someone tell me what that is ?
