Need help with codes (1416 & 0430)

I got 1416 the other day. I replaced both the AIR check valves with GM PN 12565503 today. I disconnected both of the battery terminals for about 5 minutes, then fired up the car. I am still getting the SES light. I went to get it scanned again and now its throwing the 0430 (twice) and 1416.

From what I can tell, the 0430 will be taken care of with a new catalytic convertor (which the car should still be covered under with GM's emission warranty), but what needs to be done to clear the 1416 error? I searched and was pretty sure that the check valves would do the trick.

Thanks in advance for all help!

I'd try resetting the PCM this way and see what happens:

Turn key on, don't start car
Pull PCM BATT and PCM IGN fuses
Wait 5-10 min
Turn ignition off
Replace fuses

Was the passenger side valve clogged real bad w/deposits?

Where can these fuses be found? I think you're talking about the fuses on the side of the dash? Correct?

They're under the hood. After resetting the idle will be a little grumpy until it relearns.

Thanks for the information. The dealer is going to replace the cats under warranty. Hopefully that will clear up the issue for another few years. This is the second set of cats that car has went through in 60,000 miles (First time they were replaced at 20,000 miles)....

I am not sure why this is happening. I ony run premium fuel, and the only moifications are a lid and a cutout.
