Need Help!! -- Car Won't Start

Ok, this past week I have been having trouble starting my car... When I try to start it, it cranks but won't start... The first part of the week if I kept at it on the sixth or so try it would start... Now, it won't turn over at all... Also, I've noticed that it will start easier when it is warmer outside in the afternoon... I don't have anything to see if it is throwing any codes out... Any ideas of what could be the cause or what I could check?

Question Won't turn over - as in starter ?

Battery ?

Cables ?

As far as the hard starts - that strike me as a "pull codes" kind of situation.

Sorry, I know that's not a lot of help.

Good Luck !

Update to my problem... Key problem has been fixed, but extended crank still exists... I've noticed that it will start easier when it is warmer outside, but won't start at all when it is cold (if engine is warm, it will start if it is cold weatherwise)... Any other ideas?

My quess is it's the battery ( you also could have corrosion on the battery cables ), buy another battery or drop in another battery from another car and see what happens when it's cold.

This would be my Guess the cars now are very sensitive to voltage and will cause the car to do funny things.

There are alot of things to be looked at for extended cranking.
Fuel pressure is it OK?
How old is fuel filter??
Coolant & intake air temp sensors working correctly?
Tune-up componets in good shape?

Replaced the battery and same results... Two weeks ago, had the low coolant module replaced, coolant was filled to top then... Thinking about replacing plugs and wires now... whatchya think?

I hate to see you just chasing the problem around but it might not be a bad idea to check the plugs anyway.

I hate to be chasing the problem around too, but I unfortunately don't have diagnostic tools available and the dealership wants $72 just to diagnose the problem... The car needs new plugs and wires, so hopefully it will take care of the problem.... I am awaiting some plug wires I ordered to come in, so it will probably be next weekend when I replace them... until then, I am still looking for advice....
