It's real easy, and InstallUniversity has great step-by-step directions. Watch for the weird nut that you have to use two wrenches on (otherwise it keeps spinning and the bolt won't come out).
For rotors, I recommend AutoZone's basic rotor. For pads, I **highly** recommend Raybestos ceramic. No squeal and no dust. You'll never have to scrub your wheels again.

I respectfully disagree. They have no wear indicators and they wear unevenly and very fast. I had two pads virtually melt away in 3-months (NOT due to improper braking) and score the rotors and had to buy new ones. Now, just cuz I had a VERY bad experience with those, doesn't mean you will too. Just sending out a caution: Keep a close and regular eye on those pads if you buy them.
