Ok i have a 02 Z28 and I know 01-02 camaros cam with smaller cams than the 98-00. I think I have the specs for both of the cams right. 98-00 Duration 200/203 Lift .500/.500 and 01-02 Duration 207/196 Lift .479/.467. And the 01-02 Z28/SS came with the ls6 intake. I have heard thats why the 01-02 camaros cam with a smaller cam because with the ls6 intake they would have made to much HP. If I had a 200/203 Duration .500/.500 Lift Cam that came in the 98-00 Z28/SS would I have mutch of a HP gain?

Also does anyone have the cam specs for 02 zo6 ls6 vette? And cam specs for 02 ls1 vette cam specs?

And if I change my cam to any of the 3 cams I don't have that I have mentioned would I have to change anything else?

 

I know if you get a Z06 cam you have to get the Z06 springs too. You can buy both together off many websites. If your going to go through the trouble of changing cams then you might as well go with something better than changing to a 98-00 cam, I would assume gains would be miniscule if any. Z06 is a good cam though, I've heard of some people making pretty respectable numbers with it. You also might want to check out Thunder Racing's Old Man's Cam if you want a cam that will idle like stock and still make good power.
