TR 224/224 on a 114 would be a good power cam with decent manners. Another cam that has been seeing a surge in popularity is the TSP 231/237. Wouldn't be nearly as streetable, but with a good tune could be tolerable. Both are pretty nitrous-friendly... Mine is a 234/236 special order...rocks the house and is driveable.

The TSP Torquer (233/233) and their newer cam, 233/239, would give you that nice lope that you speak of

We all have angry midgets under our hoods j/k

Cam swap will do it. Recently a lot of folks are going with big cams but you can tune a lot of that stuff out (right like you would )

114 lsa is not good for a lopey idle. 112 or lower is what you're looking for.

Yah, 114 won't be as nasty, but he said "street drivability" as a prerequisite. Just remember, the LSA will move your "power band" around in the RPM range...

Nice!

Really though, how did it run before the tune? The shop thats doing mine is like 2 miles away(Houston city traffic though- stop and go, stop and go) and I was going to drive it there to get it tuned.

What about after the tune? How many seconds between each lope?(or tenths)

Re: nasty shake at the stop light

It's not going to drive well without a tune, especially in stop and go traffic. It's just a big cam. It will surge and die on you at lights. You will want to drill out the throttle body. A good tune will make a WORLD of difference. As long as you get a good tune, you should be alright.
On the last question, I have no idea. It hits pretty hard. I have the idle set at 900. Gets a few looks at stop lights.

Here's a thread with an MS3 Sound Clip if you would like to get an idea of what it will sound like.
