nasty shake at the stop light
How do u guys get that nasty shake at the stop light where it sounds like a beast and scares anything that pulls up wut mods does it take to do this??? and how many of u out there has there car doing this already??
Re: nasty shake at the stop light
TR 224/224 on a 114 would be a good power cam with decent manners. Another cam that has been seeing a surge in popularity is the TSP 231/237. Wouldn't be nearly as streetable, but with a good tune could be tolerable. Both are pretty nitrous-friendly... Mine is a 234/236 special order...rocks the house and is driveable.

j/kCam swap will do it. Recently a lot of folks are going with big cams but you can tune a lot of that stuff out (right like you would
)

Really though, how did it run before the tune? The shop thats doing mine is like 2 miles away(Houston city traffic though- stop and go, stop and go) and I was going to drive it there to get it tuned.
What about after the tune? How many seconds between each lope?(or tenths)
Re: nasty shake at the stop light
It's not going to drive well without a tune, especially in stop and go traffic. It's just a big cam. It will surge and die on you at lights. You will want to drill out the throttle body. A good tune will make a WORLD of difference. As long as you get a good tune, you should be alright.
On the last question, I have no idea. It hits pretty hard. I have the idle set at 900. Gets a few looks at stop lights.
Here's a thread with an MS3 Sound Clip if you would like to get an idea of what it will sound like.
