Cool On my way to true duals

I just ordered 2 Dynamax Magnum Race Bullet mufflers with 3" inlets and outlets which are due at my house in 2 days. As soon as I get my headers installed my shop is going to custom make my X-pipe and install it onto my headers with the bullets welded onto the end. I'm going to clamp on a 3" downpipe on the end of each bullet temporarily for the show this saturday and afterwards I may try out a side pipe set-up. Should I weld any pipes to my headers or should I strickly bolt-on to the headers?

Will that be dumped directly under the car? If so , it will be loud as hell and droney in the car. Won't be as bad if you run them all the way to the back.

For right now I'm gonna dump them under the car. Later I'm going to run side-pipes if I can find a way around the ground clearance issues. I also changed the design some and I'm gonna try an H-Pipe instead of an X. Whole system will be 3 inch from the headers back.

There's no emissions testing in Kentucky so I don't have to worry about that.

I'd stay with the X-pipe. Will make more power than the H set-up(especially in the low to mid range) and has a smoother more refined sound.

Cool

This topic was discussed a few months ago, and I saved a site with some pics. Except for the ground clearance issues that apparently can be bad, I think it's a cool setup.
