My stiff clutch

Maybe this post doesn't belong here, but I'll make it appropriate...How stiff is the stock clutch in our cars? I was thinking maybe mine was aftermarket, ... but my real question is does anyone else's clutch make their foot sore?? This is kinda annoying but I kinda consider it worth the pain LOL !! Is this somethin im just gonna have to get used to?

I wouldn't consider my clutch stiff ('02). It's a little heavier than my Dakota clutch but it doesn't make my foot (leg?) sore. I drove a friend's Viper last weekend- now that clutch was stiff! Short throw though.

How old is the clutch? My clutch i had in the car was real nasty, you needed barbarian force to stomp it down. The clutch i just got pretty soft comparitively. It makes the car toatlly different to drive, its much easier to drive actually. I'm still getting used to it though. The funny thing is that i've driven various stock
f-bodies, and they the stiffness of the pedal seemed to vary by car.

No, its not my leg. Specificly it's the ball under my 2 smallest toes :P ... its just where im comfortable using the clutch. As for how new it is, im not sure. I've only had the car for about a month now. I can tell you that the tranny has been opened up, so I'm assuming it was a clutch install. The clutch releases about halfway. That's good right?
