My planned mods
Ok, tell me what you think
Exhaust:
Pacesetter LT headers
Pacesetter Y pipe
Electric cutout
Intake:
lid
filter
fra (and probably a crapload of other free mods)
Chasis:
boxed Subframe connectors
Any changes/suggestions?
What kind of hp/tq numbers could I expect?
I have space for a 200-300ish dollar mod...what would you suggest?

are you running any kind of catback? if not i would have a shop run some 3" pipe from the ypipe back to the cutout, then connect to the stock piece. that way you are not choking the exhaust with the 2.75" pipe. and since it's basically straight pipe...it should be cheap.
dont forget you'll need o2 sims or a tune, those are $90
beyond that i would say an ASP underdrive pulley, think they are $225ish
have you looked into the Super Sucker Ram Air? it's a great unit and gives good gains. link in my sig
if it's an M6...get a shifter or at least a ****f stick (have one for sale

Like teke said if your an M6 just add a new shifter and you got a good plan with about 340 rwhp. However if you have an A4 then I strongly suggest this setup instead:
Lid
TCI SSF3500 torque converter
Trans go shift kit
b & m tranny cooler
Cutout with electric plate
I would seriously get a torque converter before headers. It's the single best mod for any automatic. It'll knock .6 off your 1/4 mile timeslip (if you race it at all) and get rid of that damn 35 mph dead spot. Not to mention the SOTP feel will blow you away.

how do they do on a manual?
what kind of torque converter would be best for me?

Automatics are the only ones that have tc's. Manuals have clutches. Shift kits as well as the tranny cooler are only for the auto's because of the design. Lid and cutout would work on the manual though. If you do have an m6 you will definately want a shifter and a clutch. If you get crazy with mods you will want to save for a 12 bolt or 9inch rear end. Hope this helps.
