Exclamation My dyno #'s are low....:(

I got my car dynoed cause it was running alittle funny, speed inc tuned it, and it got 402 RWHP, now with my mods stage 2 heads,cam,ls6 intake, ported polished tb, SLP headers, and SLP loud mouth shoudnt i make more than that??? I realize that i only have 6k miles and my engine isnt really "broken in"
ALSO they used the stock heads, they were just ported and polished to stage 2, would that explain some of it?????????
ITs really pissing me off

It indeed seems that those are low numbers but you must realize that they've come a long way with the heads in the past year, so if they're older that might be were you missing power lies.

I haven't seen any heads that come with a warranty, some come with a guarntee how much they will flow though.

not everyone makes 430rwhp with just a cam and headers like most shops would like you to believe..

Still, 402 is a bit low. I haven't seen a number like that since the first heads and cam packages cam out.

yeeah, well my engine isnt broken really, and they are origally the stock heads, just ported and polished...so I dont know, is it possible to have a cam that would be much better on n20 and not as good n/a cause i think my 224/228 563/563 112LSA

no its not the cam.....prob the driver.....jk lol

your cam is best when used with n20 but still makes decent numbers without n20

Correct me if I'm wrong I might be thinking of something else.

I believe so...at WOT I think the PCM kinda switches back into open-loop (or at least a WOT mode with preset maps and tables) and ignores the O2s. Which would probably help to make sure it stays a little rich and doesn't go lean (to prevent detonation).

What's up with three dudes having the same username except for the last two numbers in this thread? Talk about confusing.

Your O2's shouldn't have anything to do with your dyno numbers, unless they're trying to tell you that you're running lean or rich.
