His 95 Z started having problems about 3 days ago. It started bogging out especially in first gear and low 2nd gear. Then yesterday it was running fine and then all of a sudden it started bogging out and then overheated. He hobbled it home and now when I checked it, it squels upon start up and it isn't an accessory(I took off the belt and it still squelled).
Then I took off the intake and started it and it sounded like the it was coming from the intake and throttle body.WTF?
Any ideas?
Any help would be appreciated.
Is there anything in the intake that could cause the squelling?
Also with the bogging, it must be fuel or timing right? The injector pulse was around 7.3-7.7 if that helps. And the fuel pump and filter were replaced about 3 months ago.

Sounds weird. You might want to try LT1 Tech, though.

Could be that crappy OPTI spark, I'm not sure about the overheating?

Maybe a vaccum leak around the TB?

How many miles are on the car?

This is why I traded in my '94 Z-28, problems were never ending
