Unhappy My Brakes make a grinding noise!

When i use the brakes, there is a grinding noise coming from the front right brake. Could this just mean my pad is worn out, or is it something else?

It means your pad is worn out. Get new pads and rotors. Easy job.

Stock LS1 rotors are junk. If you have never done the brakes on this car, save yourself the headache of warpage and replace them now. Not more than $100 for a pair of AutoZone rotors.

Most likely the pads, just take the wheel off and check the pads. My brakes also need to be replaced soon. I've heard many people saying the stock rotors are crap although I can't really complain about mine. After 55K miles they're just worn down (Isn't that normal ?)... Are AutoZone rotors better than the orig. equipment ??? 100 a pair sounds like a good deal to me.... the pads should be around 30 - 40 ...
