Muffling cam and headers

I want to run a sleeper set up. Should I run a flowmaster ForceII system or a stock ws6 muffler. Would the stock be to restrictive?

Cool

The Force II system is not going to be very stealthy. It has a nice sound, but it's not what you're looking for if you're wanting to really muffle the heads/cam setup. The best system I've found to keep a car quiet and flow well is the SLP dual/dual. I have it on my '02 SS, and it is very quiet. FYI, I'm running our 231/237 cam, and it's a big feat to muffle that cam in stock cubes! I have a bullet muffler with a turn-down on it for when I want to be loud.

For a quiet setup, my vote is for the SLP dual/dual. We carry the full line of SLP products, so let me know if I can help you out.

Thanks!

Trevor

Not much will "sleep" in the vacinity of a ForceII FlowMaster system!

what about Force III? Its advertised to be comparable to stock sound, but with flow improvements.

Force III looks impressive to me. But, I thought Flowmaster wasn't the, 'Flow Master'? That's what everyone told me when I put the American Thunder Cat-Back on my old LT1.

I don't think I've heard of an aftermarket muffler flowing less than stock, and I have no idea about the underwater sound you're talking about. How about a stock WS6 muffler? I've heard they flow pretty well and are still quiet.
