Question Muffler decision

I am looking at buying a z28 or trans am within the next 7 days. I was wondering what are some mufflers that have good performance and sound.

Very happy with my Magnaflow, flows great and sounds awsome. Get lots of compliments.

Slp Loudmouth, GMMG, Magnaflow, Borla or a cutout all sound really great and give good performance. With the cutout you will only lose a little bit of low end power but no biggie sounds great.

My personal opinion .. .

Flowmaster 80 muffler for the sound, then an electric cutout for when you want the flow.

I like Borla and Corsa, Corsa is what I have now and I like it better than the Borla but it's not adjustable. I will be adding an electronic cutout when I install my longtubes.

Depends on how much you want to spend, if looks matter to you etc. Price alone will set your boundries, then you can go from there.

Mine cost $140 parts and professional install
IMO the best sounding exhaust for an LS1 (other than a nasty cam with duals)
Sound clip in sig and more on my site page 2.
Good luck

If money is not a factor, i'd say go for either Corsa, or the GMMG system, they are one of the best ones.
