Question MTI Clear Lid

I bought mine a long time ago and I was wondering if anyone had a "fit" problem with it like I do. I have to mod the upper radiator cover to make the angle of the intake work.

I got mine to fit without any modification but it was a tight fit and a small crack appeared on the lid. Nothing major though.

Mine's really snug. I'm using the Holley Powershot Filter, which is supposed to be a great match. It's a pain to get it in place, but when I DO, it fits great.

Mine fits really good and I use a K & N filter. I also have a question about this lid. Is anyone having a problem with theirs getting scratched? If you do let me know or if you know how I could prevent or remove them.
