Re: MSD is offering LS1 coils

Wow thats cool, LT1 cap/rotor is probably a nice piece but who knows. What interestes me the most is the LS1 coils This is good news for LTCC owners and a step back for DelTeq guys because if these LS1 coils are stronger thats a plus for us LT1 LTCC guys to use these coils instead, and the controller which will come out and deliver multiple sparks will be even better, with 8 coils basicly doing nothing compared to a single coil setup you can put like a million sparks through one coil before it suffers the strain of a regular single coil system. And with this setup I bet the multiple spark controller will work great for the LT1 LTCC guys as I can imagine it will not need to be pluged into the PCM or anything, it'll just take the command to fire into the coil and just need a splice off the singla wire to the LTCC and it will work just fine. This is great news because us LT1 LTCC guys could not get multiple sparks happening and now we should be able to.

Factory coils are good for up to around 600 hp. Most people will never need them, unless they like the red trim in their engine bay.
