Mounting an LM7 motor?

Does anyone know where I can find a rolling engine cradle for a Gen III motor?

The mounting points are different than the SBC, correct?

I don't know of any company that makes one. You'll more than likely have to custom make one. Why not just use an engine stand?

I will use an engine stand before I custom build a cradle, but I would much rather have a cradle. It's a whole lot easier to transport move an engine around on a cradle.

I think Summit sells a cradle that fits the LSx block, I have a nice metal cradle that came with my TSP short block. It doesn't have wheels but it wouldn't be too hard to put some sort of caster on.

How could I forget to check Scoggin-Dickey, they have everything!

Though I'm not sure if that one has wheels on it, but I was thinking I could go to harbor freight and get a small movers dolly for cheap and bolt it on there, it would probably roll better than the stock casters that come on those things anyway.

Mike I checked Summit and couldn't find one that would fit the GenIII motors, maybe they would, but if it doesn't specifically say it I'm not going to bet my money on it.

Edit: SD had this one also

It has holes on all 4 corners, that looks to be provisions for wheels....so it would be relatively easy to add some....although getting a dolly for underneath it should work fine as well.

Yeah I'll have to check harbor freight for some casters. It would be nice to be able to slide it off a dolly so it's not rolling around in the back of my van while I'm taking it home though.
