Ultra Z hood

I'm pretty sure this is the most efficient one for the Camaros. Too bad it doesn't look as good as the oem hood. Still nice though.

I get compliments everywhere I go about the grill....for some reason it looks a lot thicker in pictures than it doesn in real life. In pictures, you can never see the gaps between the metal, but they are definitely there when you look at it in person...Maybe its just the way the sun hits it? One time, somebody asked me if it was my intercooler....lol.

Ultra Z hoods seem to be pretty efficient. I've got a friend with the Ultra Z on a white Z28 and it looks good.

Yeah, that does look nice. If I had a Z28, thats what I would go with. Mecham makes some bad a$$ hoods.

I got go with DanBUCF's ultra z hood over the mecham. The mecham looks out of place IMHO. The Ultra z has more of the curves/lines of the rest of the car. To me, the mecham looks to timid and under done, but to each their own.

For those of you with aftermark hoods such as the Utra Z .. how much was it to paint?
