Missfire..

Ok I noticed I had a O2 sim dragging on the ground and it was threw a few puddles of water, now I couldn't do anything about it at the time because I needed to drive the car and I had to get somewhere soon or face a lot of grief. Now the car starts Missfirering HORRABLY, could this be the result of the O2 simulator frying or getting some water in it?

Or is it another problem that's come to grief me.

The Simmulators are for the Front O2 Sensors. I opened them up and there was water inside. I think it might have ****ed something up. It will run fine for about 2 minutes when I start the car, then all of a sudden it'll start missing like crazy.

Why did you put simulator in place of the front o2 sensor? Simulators are for the rear when you remove the cats. Put real o2 sensors back in.

Yeah you ****ed something up.... the simulators replace the post cat(rear) 02 sensors!!!!

No wonder your car is running like ****...

The car will run with 02 sims up front, but not very good..

as soon as the car goes into closed loop its freaking out and running like ***.

I really hope youre just joking... seriously... cause this is pretty stupid.. lol

Oh my bad. -.-; I did put the simmulators on, however, my friend was the one who actually performed it. So I had no idea which was being replaced with what.. Now I feel stupid. But no the Simmulators are right! One was hanging down, got damp from puddles caused by Rain, and now the car is missfireing. HELP.

Let me Edit this, because it doesn't establish my point.

even if the simulator is f-ed up, the rear o2s have nothing to do with the misfire...all it would cause is an SES light.

it's something else

how many miles on teh car? I went through a missfire with a firends car. it turned out to be trash in the number 7 injector but that car had been sitting a while. are any codes being thrown? it would help to get it scaned and see if it;s pointing you to a specific cylinder.. that way your on a better track. simple things that cause missfires, plugs, wires, coils, injectors. ;arger things ush rods, bad cylinders etc etc etc
