Metal flakes in oil?
My '02 Z has 5.8K miles on it. I just chaned the oil for the first time (dealer did the first one) and I noticed small metal filings stuck to the magnet in the oil plug. There wasn't much, but definitely enough to notice. The filing are very small, almos like what you would see in a magna doodle or something. Is this normal, or should I take it in to the dealer?

In my Z28, I only got to do a handfull of oil changes before the car was totalled, but each time, there were a few metal bits on the drain plug. (glad it's magnetic) I was told that it was normal.
However, in the WS6, I haven't found a single flake of metal on the plug when I change the oil.
Curious ....
