My car has been having some problems, and I couldnt seem to find the problem so I brought it into the "shop". They are telling me one of my valve springs is messed up.

How does a valve spring break ... over revving?
And if I were to go ahead and replace them all, what should I get for a car with light mods?

Set of stock springs maybe...at most some Comp Cam 918's. You wont need anything more unless you start getting into camming the car and such. Stock ones should be fine if you havent done any valve train work.
