I got a 98 z28 with the factory ground effects on it, i put my magnaflow catback on yeasterday and where the tips lined up the rearpiece hangs down over the tips a little maybe a half inch? i didnt think it would be a problem but the hot exhaust is starting to melt the rear piece and bubble the paint. Has anyone else has this problem? i was thinking about making a cutout in the ground effect? what do you think?

 

sounds like the whole system is too far forward.

take it to an exhaust shop and have them either extend the tips or put new ones on.

my MF fit fine with my factory gfx.
