kringer2, 80 series muffler.. but I had cat-back work done in addition to the muffler... widened y-pipe connector to 3" and 3" pipe to muffer, then 2 x 2.5" tail pipes

... but im pretty sure you have to have that work done anyways to fit the muffler...

I've got the 80 series also. Any exhaust shop can weld it in place and you don't have to go 3" before the muffler. i originally had the muffler welded in place with all the stock exhaust, even the 2.25" Z28 outlets to the 2.5" outlets of the Flowmaster. I recently had it changed to 2.5" outlets with the Fast Toys Dual Dual Stainless Steel tips and with that being done, my exhaust sounds no different than Flat_tire's.
