I ran into a thread on another forum where someone's magnaflow cracked. It cracked along the weld on the end of the muffler. And a couple other people said that theirs cracked also. It seems that the instances are few and far between but anyone here ever seen this?

 

nope...mines about 5 yrs old still no problems...and it's been on 3 different cars

 

Mine has been fine for the two years it's been on my car. I live in the Chicagoland area where tons of salt are dumped on the streets in the winter.

 

The other post said that Magnaflow was sending him a new one to honor the waranty. It's just that I seen that post about 5 minutes after I ordered my catback. Can't wait to get it.
