mac longtubes and catted y pipe pros and cons, is it as good as jethot lt?

mac longtubes and catted y pipe pros and cons, is it as good as jethot lt?

i heard the jethot give great gains and flow real well does the mac longtubes flow as much as jethot and give as much power as the jethots? what are the problems with these headers, found the coated headers with catted y pipe for 649.99 seems like a great deal compared to 950.00 for jethot and catted y pipe

MACs are 1 5/8 midlengths, hookers are 1 3/4 longtubes. There is nothing "wrong" with MACs, but you do get what you pay for, as in more HP with the longtubes. MACs are popular with people with lowered cars because there is no ground clearance loss.

the coating on the macs is not ceramic....jet-hots are.

If money is not a problem get the longtubes.I got my Macs and ory for $250 used.I gained 9rwhp peak,and 15+ under the curve.Decent headers,easy to install and no ground clearance probs....
