mac header install

mac header install

does anyone know where i can get a write up for one? I did a search and nothing. I went to install universtity and it is incomplete. It is my first time doing headers and any help would be appreciated. thanks

directions Those are for a 99, will be the same except you have no EGR to worry about.

Looks like that guy slid the headers in from the top. I went in from the bottom.

if you go in from the bottom do you have to remove the coil packs?

No, but it makes reaching down there a lot easier if you unbolt them.

Yeah, headers with a catted Y pipe. Look at the air/fuel ratio.

Definatly go in from the bottom. Much easier. Cut the casting tabs with a saber saw, and it will make life easy. No unbolting the motor mounts or the starter. Just slides right up and in.
