lug nut covers
lug nut covers
where can i get them? i got some from SLP but they are not a real jet black color...sort of grayish black......anyone know ? whenever i rotate my tires, i usually end up cracking at least 1 or 2 of those damn things, and i dont want to replace the ones from slp.cause the colors dont match the ones that are already on the car, and i dont like the color of the ones from SLP......
nobody notices that on your car but you... the slight difference of hue in one lug nut to another on one of the wheels, overpowered by the glare of the chrome... your ok dude.... don't stress over it...
Go to a junk yard. They normally have buckets of lug nuts and covers for a hell of a lot cheaper than 4 bucks a pop;
When I changed the wheels on my old 95 Z I got a set of 20 lug nuts AND the black covers for less than $10.

I bought a whole new set for my car when I bought my car even though I only needed about half of them. Theres no way I would have done that if they were $4 a piece, maybe your dealer does though. I would get the part number from the dealer then look them up on gmpartsdirect.com

The local Chevrolet dealership here has the ones for the 95+ 5 star firebird wheels for $1.50 something and the ones for the tri-star 93-94 style were like $1.80 something. We called the Pontiac dealership, and they wanted $4.00 flat for ONE lug cover (5 star wheel). Needless to say, it sounds like one GM dealership is just trying to screw you. Radley Chevrolet here in Fredericksburg has em for a buck and a half a pop, which still seems pretty high to me, but better than what you're looking at so far.
