An older gentleman that worked with my grandfather has a 1997 Impala, which he claims has an LT4 with a six-speed. I have looked at the car and it does have a six-speed but i have yet to see the motor. I have heard rumors of LT4 six-speed impalas but wasn't sure if any ever got out. He will sell it to me for 5 g's but i want to be sure it's the real deal and not some choppy engine and tranny swap. Thanx

 

They didnt even have an Impala in 97. 96 was the last year and it had a auto and lt1 only! The ttranny swap would have had to be a custom swap. and the lt4 deal is a direct bolt in, or just a top end swap on the stock lt1.
