I don't like Borlas, but I LOVE the GMMG. I plan to go with Jet-Hot LTs, but I also want to keep my SS dual center exhaust tips. I have seen people pull the factory SLP SS muffler out and put in GMMGs and keep the SS dual tips, but like you guys say, with LTs and no cats it will just be too damn loud.

Hrmph...
Is there something in particular you don't like about Borla?

If it's the tips (which I am not crazy about...) Just sell them on eBay and buy some nice tips that fit your tastes... that way you retain the adjustable sound, which I think would fit your situation perfectly...

Just my opinion , though....

Granted, this is just my opinion, but I just sorta got tired of seeing them on almost every car out there. The sound kinda got old, too. I dunno. It's kinda weird.

Besides, if I get an adjustable one, I won't be able to keep my SS dual tips.

I think I am looking for the perfect solution and it is not there. I am gonna have to take one sitation or another.

Thanks for all the advice. You too, Dave!

Keep the thoughts/opinions coming.

Thumbs up

Jason, I must agree with PhantomTA, the Hooker sounds incredible with LTs, very minimal drone. Take a look at my videos: Hooker full system and what people behind you hear and (may) see (as you can see, I have the CME as well).

You can also see more video clips of different exhaust (as well as more of mine) at LS1Info.com

Yeah, I gotta go w/ the ppl that recommended Hooker I've heard lotsa clips on it and I think it's one of the better sounding cat-backs. I eventually plan on getting their cat-back... I'm gonna keep my cutout of course for when I want it REALLY loud though
