LS6 intake manifold

Well over the weekend I acquired a free ls6 intake manifold. I was not going to argue with free however when I got home and checked the part numbers I found that it is the ls6 intake off of a '01-'02 fbody.

Is there any difference in flow/quality/performance between a
fbody ls6 intake and a z06 ls6 intake?

Is it still worthwhile to put on my '98 ls1?

Yes its very worth while. Ive seen 3 tenths difference on average. Even one of my customers reported 5 tenths. Very good modification. You will need to remove the clips on the wires for the knock sensors. And get the coolant LS6 coolant lines and block off plates. Then Delete the EGR. You will throw a code and could benefit with a tune. If you don't have a tuner. I can tune it for $150.00

Is that another way of saying you stole it?!

...but yeah, it's the same intake, albeit, different part # ..... definitely worth swapping .

Free is good.

Now what exactly do I need to do to modify the coil crossovers or whatever so it will fit?
