Alright, first time on the message board bare with me. I'm trying to put a ls6 intake on my 2000 ss camaro, and seems to be a little harder than I thougt it might be. Has ne1 have any tips or tricks to further ease my headache.

 

What problems are you having? You bought the LS6 coolant lines that go with it correct?

 

I thought 2000 and 2001 had ls6 intakes already but a smaller cam than those of the 98-99 models maybe i am wrong though

 

Holy crap I didn't even notice you typed you had a '00. I also think those came with LS6 intakes.

If you have them both off, look at the bottom (underside) of them. If they are the same, you have two LS6 intakes and you need to sell me one of them (seriously, e-mail me !).

 

only 01 and 02 have the ls6 intake on them. 00 such as mine has the normal intake not the upgraded one. By the way its quite the pain to change intakes with the engine being so far back. I still haven't got the stock intake off yet.
