My friend has a 2000 Z28 and can pick up a LS6 MAF, Intake, and cam w/springs for $500. (all purchaced by someone else from ebay)
I say he would get more out of just sticking in a "real" cam.
What would be the best way to spend the $500?
PS It's a 6-speed

 

Not a bad price at all, the intake alone is worth $400. Although if he's gonna pay someone to install it, I'd say he should buy the intake and get a bigger cam instead of the ls6 since install generally will run $800. Imho its a good deal but the price that it costs to install it makes it not worth it.

buy everything then resell the cam and maf for money towards a sweet *** cam! don't let this offer get away just the intake is 400 or more!

 

I would Buy it then sell it. Then you can get a man cam. And posibley some rr's

 

Whatever he does, I'd take a real cam over the LS6 cam.
