LS6 Intake????
Re: LS6 Intake????
DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors. Usual refers to Eclipes and Talons.
As for the intake I cant really remember what's needed for the install. I didnt think there was much to it. Sorry, it's late and I need to get some sleep.

Re: LS6 Intake????
Youll need the 2001+ front coolant tube and two rear coolant plugs
Click Here to go to an article that explains exactly how to do it.
It has the part #'s for the stuff you'll need, and plenty of pictures.
Good luck

Re: LS6 Intake????
you can get all the parts brand new from www.paceparts.com
look along the left side of the page for the ls1/ls6 section and go to induction.

Re: LS6 Intake????
I would not remove the coolent lines since they allow any trapped air in a LS1 to purge out and prevent hotspotting.
You can leave the lines and just use like a Dremal and grind off the little excess plastic edges on bottom side down and intake then will fit with the coolent lines still function.

That when GM changed to the LS6 intake they screwed up all of the motors???????????????????????????
I think that GM found out that crossing over the coolant in the front and the back was not necessary. They still crossover in the front.
