Re: ls6 heads???
your poll makes me laugh! haha it should be in 10 hp increments and even at that it will only run as well as the person who tunes it. sorry for being mean. you need lots of other mods.
As far as heads, regular LS6 heads will only yeild a gain of around 12-15 hp over ls1 castings. the real performance jump is in ported and polished heads. still, the difference between ls1/6 P&P heads is only like 15 hp (depending on cam as well, the bigger the cam, the more hp you'll squeeze out of the heads, like maybe 20 or 25hp on BIG cams)

Re: ls6 heads???
well with boltons and the original Torquer cam...i'm running about 400rwhp.
so with the mild gain of the ls6 heads...i'd say between 400 and 420rwhp depending on tuning.

Re: ls6 heads???
the heads were suppose to be stage to from a company i think thats called bully dog from michigan... no sure about that so i wouldn't quote it but i feel that was the name of the company i would have to ask the guy who has them but right now i have my name on the for 600 with dual springs, the only thing they need is vavle seals they r brand new
Re: ls6 heads???
ported ls6 heads aer a whole different ballgame.
get some flow numbers, combustion chamber size, intake runner size, valve size....
all that will affect how the heads work with the cam

Re: ls6 heads???
300 at .550 is pretty good. not sure i trust them too much.
the 28 is probably the pressure it was flowed tested at.
if those are accurate...there is no need to port them any more. i would spend the few bills and get them flowtested just to confirm. and have the chamber checked so you don't accidentally drop a few points on your compression (although i think ls6 heads have smaller chambers so you should be fine), and maybe have the intake runner checked. a big intake runner will make great numbers at peak on the dyno..but hurt your low/mid range.
