LS1's suck

You know I am just kidding,

I just want to let you know how lucky you are. I have spent $3k just to put out the same power (@320rwhp) you guys make with a lid and cut out. I wish I knew then what I know now, I would have definatly traded my LT1 in for an LS1.

So I guess I am here just to tell you I am jeolous.

Cool

You speak the truth and that is a good thing. The LT1 is a good engine too, just keep modding and get faster and faster as the same with the LS1.

I know...

Tell me about it. I have a '94 Z28 and no matter how much $$ I put into that thing (already about $4500) I just can't match the LS1. The power bands aren't the same! No top end on the LT1 frustrates me! So to resolve that problem, I also got an LS1 about 2 months ago. I have never been happier (or faster) than I am now. Still, I LOVE the torque of my LT1 and the fact that I can rip the tires loose in the first 3 gears. The sound of an LT1 is amazing too! I guess I'm blessed with best of both worlds.

I got a 2nd, 3rd and a 4th last sunday on dry asphalt.. 3 people in car..

that was kewl.. 3rd was big.. more like a usual 2nd.. the 4th was like a decent 3rd.. I was feeling good that day.. I was shifting before 6K.. I think that may be a factor and will be testing that more after i get a helmet so I can get to the track..
then again.. its colder out.. so my car should be making some extra hp...
