what is the dia. of the stock y pipe where the ypipe meets the cat? i think its 2.5" but someone told me 2". i need to know so i order the correct cut out size. thanks

 

Well in the first place you don't want your cutout in the y-pipe unless you're going to use 2 of them, one on each side. If you went that way the y-pipe tubes are 2 1/4" so a pair of 2 1/2"ers would work best.

The best way to go for a cutout on these cars is one 3" in the I-pipe under the rear seat. The factory I is 2 3/4" so it'll just slip into the cutout and weld 'er up.
