hey guys there are some pretty ignorant kids here at my school that are telling me that this kid's 6 speed 97 z28 can take my 98 ls1 a4. The reasoning they have is that i have a auto he has a stick so he can take me, alsothe lt1 has a 350 ci corvette engine. I told them look up the stats on the engine cause lt1 and ls1 engines are in camaros, firebirds and corvettes its nothin out of the ordinary They shrug it off and tell me that the lt1 is faster and the kid refuses to race me on the street or track. ne suggestions on how to deal with this? It gets frustrating b cause they r ricers wit a american car.

the bottom line is stock for stock and bolt on per bolt on the ls1 makes more power.. but then it depends on drivers.

do a search for more info.. no offense but this horse was beaten, it died, was cut up.. some of it was made into glue, the rest went to mcdonalds for meat and some to schools for lunch..
