Ls1 vette pan or camro pan

I am going to build a forged heads and cam Ls1 carb setup in my 63 chevy II. I got a vette pan from someone, and my question is how does the vette pan compare to the ls1 camaro pan. It looks like more of a road coarse style. In my 63 its just a drag car, so is it worth me keeping it. Let me know some benefits running the vette pan.

Thanks so much

The LS1 f-body is a conventional rear sump, and would fit much better in your application, I expect. Plus, I doubt the Vette pan will do any good on the drag strip. I'm not sure it would do any good on an autocross setup either, I thought it was winged out for ground clearance, but maybe it's baffled? Never seen the inside of one, though.

yea I think it may be too wide, I am not sure. I think it will be useless for my setup.

Anyone else know benefits of running the vette pan.
