Ls1 Problems?
Ls1 Problems?
I have a 2000 T/A. Installed a nitrous ,purge kit over the weekend. Got my bottle filled friday hooked it up and purged it couple times thats it!! Then on sunday went to start it and it started fine and ran fine. Then the SES light come on so i checked it with my scanner and i had 9 codes come up most were EVAP,one was something about the shift solinoid timer malfuction.one was unknown. then went to pull out of my driver way and ABS light came on, and when ever i hit the brakes the ABS goes off But the thing is it ran perfect friday when it was parked the only thing i did was hook up the nitrous bottle and purge it several times and all this **** went wrong. If anybody came help that would be great!!
I would just clear the PCM and try it again. Too many codes all at once
turn the key on but don't start the motor
under hood pull pcm bat and pcm ign
wait 10 minutes
turn off key
re-insert fuses
comp is cleared and reset.

If you want to double check all them codes for yourself here's a site

BTW, that is a lot of codes, like steated earlier, reset, recheck and then check all connections, this is too much crap to go wrong, the evap might just be one bad thing.

TURNS OUT MY ENG CTRL FUSE POPED AND THAT FUSE ALSO CONTROLS PARTS OF MY AUTO TRANNY! NOW THE PROBLEM IS IT KEEPS POPING? I'VE CHECKED ALL MY WIREING AND THE RELAY THAT POWER THE FUSE. AT THE MOMENT I'M GOING THROUGH THE WIREING DIAGRAM AND TRACEING DOWN ALL THE WIRES? DOSE ANYBODY KNOW IF A BAD EVAP VENT ,PURGE VALVE OR SOLINIOD COULD CAUSE THE PROBLEM? I'M TRYING NOT TO HAVE TO TAKE TO THE DEALER TO GET IT REPAIRED$$$$$$ I'VE ALREADY PUT $4,700 INTO IT THIS WINTER ON PAINT AND BODY,NITROUS KIT, OR Y-PIPE. I HAVE ONLY HAD THE T/A FOR JUST OVER A YEAR NOW AND I'VE ALREADY SUNK $10,000 INTO IT!!!! PLEASE HELP GOING TO THE POOR HOUSE!!
Have you tried unhooking the power to your nitrous system? If you unhook power to the kit you installed, then replace the fuse that keeps blowing, you can see if your install is the source.
If the fuse doesn't blow, your kit wiring is not right. If the fuse blows, then you know to keep looking.
