Whats the HP and 1/4 mile times for a stock 2002 SS Camaro?

 

I think they were 335 from the factory or 345 if you got the SLP lid. Of course, they made 320 or so at the wheels, so they were a little underrated. Most people get mid 13's on a stock setup. GM HiTech Performance pulled a 12.98 or something once on a 6-speed with their pro driver powershifting.

1/4 time is about 13.25 from what I read. and As far as horsepower GM says 325 but dyno tests show different maybe somewhere around 340-350 (at the fly wheel obviously)

 

Ive had an 01 SS Camaro 6speed, bone stock it dynoed at 317 rwhp and under the hood was 325hp rated. Ive seen my old friends 01 T/A BONE STOCK pull 331rwhp, ive been to several dyno days and the lowest ive seen is 276rwhp from a 99 Z28 which is considered horrible. The avg rwhp on 01-02's are about 310-315 rwhp and yes you will have some lower but thats what ive seen on several instances.

 

It's going to vary with the driver, age, and condition of the car.

 

Numbers don't really mean much, though. My car dyno'd 290 and still ticked off a 13.12.

My car put down 346 and runs an 8.50 in the 1/8th.
