A friend of mine has an LS1 Trans Am, that ran mid eights in the 1/8 mile.He destroyed his tranny and the dealer gave him a hard time about fixing it under warranty, because they said he had been racing it. He denied it and they fixed it, but now it won't run faster than 9.30. Is there anything that the dealer could have done to affect performance like that. They replaced the tranny and the torque converter when they fixed it. Thanks for any help.
