Are LS1 main bolts TTY?

I was just curious if the stock LS1 Main cap bolts are Torque to Yeild bolts and need to be replaced every rebuild? THanks

AFAIK, they are torque to yield bolts, and I guess you're supposed to get new ones every time? BUT, I think I've heard that they can be re-used once without any problems..................but don't take my word on that!

They arent supposed to be reusable. I would NOT recommend reusing them.
I looked at it this way:
Pay around $120-130 for them at the dealer, or pay $140 for ARP main studs (you have to find them for that price, they arent a sponsor here)
I went for the main studs

I did the same with my heads. $50 a pop for new head bolts or get the ARP stud kit and forget it. Well it's a good thing that I did 'cause I had to take the heads back off.
