ls1 in a lt1 body?

ls1 in a lt1 body?

i was wondering if its possible to transplant an ls1 into a 93 camaro body? if so what would i need? just engine/tranny computer n rear???

You can buy a complete LS1 powered vehicle for about the same amount you would spending swapping just the engine into your 93.

Is there something special about your car? Extreme low miles? Expensive custom paint? A lot of chassis work? If not, then it's not worth it.

You'll need:

LS1 engine, complete intake to oil pan
mounts/K-member
transmission with clutch or converter
exhaust manifolds with y-pipe
all LS1 belt driven accessories and brackets
all components required to connect accessories to chassis (wiring, hoses, etc)
wiring harness and PCM
intake setup

And even with all that, you'll still need to fabricate some parts.

I agree with this. But if your looking for a challenge then have fun. If it were me, I would just buy an LS1 car.
