ls1/ls6 exhaust manifolds

arent the 01/02 camaros equipped with the ls6 exhaust manifolds?? and do the ls6 exhaust manifolds flow a whole lot better than the ls1 exhaust manifolds?? The only reason i ask is because one of my friends got headers on his 02 and i was thinking about putting them on my 2000 till i get headers. (they only have like 2000 miles on them). Sound like a good idea to you guys??

thanks

Scott

Im pretty sure there is no such thing as LS6 exhaust manifolds. The Z06 does come with a titanium exhaust which differs from the standard corvette. But the exhaust manifolds used on a corvette ls1 or ls6 wont fit on a camaro or firebird. Your buddies exhaust manifolds are the same as yours dont waste your time with putting his on.

Yep the 2000, 2001, & 2002 exhaust manifolds are all the same.
