has any one put on the slp, ls1 long tube headers on and is it worth the price $850.00 the say 40 more horses 58 lb of torque also how hard or long did it take you. chances of breaking any header bolts of in the block. i got a 99 chevy ss and want that little extra horse power

i think 40hp and 58tq is a bit high. Realisticly i think you might see 20 each from headers.

slim but possible depending on the scenerio

i got a 99 chevy ss and want that little extra horse power

get some pacesetter headers they will net you around the same, give you better ground clearance and will be 1/3 the price by the time its all said and done.

Maybe 41hp 58 tq when you put them on after heads and cam.

 

I believe SLP says 'up to" 41 hsp depending on mods etc. I have a set on my 99 SS. No dyno number just yet waiting for some tuning to get it all working well. Definitely more torque though. Do have clearance inssues. Da*& parkinglots with speed bumps. Sound good as well with the borla exhaust.

 

Anyone have any thoughts on the PPC headers/ORY setup??
