285/35 on 11'' wheels?

Ok, I have a spair set of 17X11'' ZR1 wheels but i really wanted to put the bridgestone potenzas on them. The 285's are listed as being able to fit 9.5-11'' wheels, but has anyone ever done it? Does the side profile lean towards the middle since they are stretched?

Anyone with 17x11's use anything other than 315's on them?

Yeah bro, I've got 17x11s on all 4 corners. At them moment I've got 275's on all 'them, and everything fits fine. It doesn't look stretched or anything either, and Nitto's are even narrower than most other tires of the same size.

If you want pics of what they all look like check out the link in my sig.

35 series tires would be a bit small height wise. i calculated itout to be 24.8", where your average 745/40 tire has a height of 25.6"

that is quite a difference i think, i don't think it would look right and it would throw your speedo off quite a bit.

can you get 285/40's? that would have a height of 25.9"

cool, thanks guys, I'll have to check on the 285/40. I just thought the 275 would be even stretched too far that it would loose the "wide" look.

Hey Rs Dragster, Are you sure you got 17x11's? first off slp never sold any that size that i'm aware of. and by looking at your pictures it seems like you got 17x9's all the way. which is why you have 275/40. Correct me if i'm wrong.
